Welcome to Pong Films. For me, photography has always been about something much deeper than just snapping nice pictures—it’s about holding onto pieces of time that would otherwise vanish.
Growing up, I didn't have the luxury of looking back at my earliest years. Because my parents couldn't afford a camera or photos at the time, I don’t have a single picture of myself as a newborn or a baby. I actually have no idea what I looked like when I was born. My visual history only starts at three years old, which is the earliest photo of me that exists. To be honest, it still hurts a bit to think about that gap. But looking back, I realize that exact empty space is probably where my entire passion for photography was born. Because I couldn't see my own beginnings, I developed a deep need to document, capture, and preserve the world around me so nothing else gets lost.
